Condition: The patient was presented with a severe swelling (cellulitis) of the right front limb caused by bite wounds from another cat. The limb was painful and the patient refused to take any weight on this limb.
Treatment: Phototherapy was done once a day, for 3 minutes. The patient was kept on concurrent antibiotics.
Outcome: 24 hours after the start of phototherapy, the swelling had gone down completely and the patient could make full use of his limb again. No surgery was ever needed and the patient healed without any complications.
