I have always had a passion for animals and started riding horses from a young age, where all my spare time was spent working at the local riding school in return for free rides until I got my own horse in my teens. After obtaining my BSc from University I spent many years working and training on an International Event yard, where I was head girl. I also competed myself up to BE Novice and International 1* level. I learnt so much from my time there and it has also given me a clear understanding of the demands faced by competition animals at the top of their game. I have also travelled extensively and have worked with horses in other countries including Australia and Argentina (where the photo at the top of this page was taken). I first discovered McTimoney after a fall from a horse left me in considerable pain in my lower back. I was amazed with the results after just one treatment from a McTimoney Chiropractor, the treatment felt so light and gentle and yet left me virtualy pain free. Later, I had McTimoney treatments on my own horse with great results and I was also struck by how relaxed the horse was during and after treatment. As soon as the time was right I enrolled on the McTimoney course. I relocated to West Wales in August 2016 and I live with my partner, Gavin, and our 2 Spanish rescue dogs, Pacho and Luna, whom we got through a charity called Spanish Stray Dogs UK (5% from all my dog treatments are donated to the charity). I also travel regularly to Staffordshire/Cheshire and am available for treatments there about once a month.
