Tess Eagle Swan became famous when she rescued a Romanian Mioritic Shepherd Dog, Kratu, from terrible conditions in a gypsy camp. Whilst waiting for Kratu’s doggy passport, Tess trained him using Watsapp, allowing them to build a bond together despite being hundreds of miles apart. She continued his training in the UK and even went on to enter him for Crufts. His comical performance may not have won the show, but he certainly seemed to win the hearts of people nationwide.
Tess has also rescued other dogs from the camps in Romania and has used the Photizo to aid them in their recovery. When asked how the Photizo has helped her and her dogs, she told us the story of Raffy.
“Raffy is a supermodel. He won the Supermodel competition 3 years ago and became the cover model for the Dogs Today Magazine. He has met many people and won many things. Recently, he won the ‘Handsome Male’ at Pupaid 2018. He has also met some very beautiful celebrities as he catches the ladies eyes; Rula Lenska, Talia Dean, and quite a few more.
Raffy is a large dog with a long back. He gets stiff in his back and sometimes finds it hard getting up and down. I used the Photizo on him for three days and saw significant improvement. After one week, it made me incredibly happy to see him jump eagerly into the back of the car – rather than drag himself in!
For me, the real proof is seeing him so much better. We went out at the weekend and he passed his Kennel Club Gold Good Citizens Award. Being pain free meant he could focus on his tasks and actually really enjoyed himself. He is an amazing dog that has overcome a terrible start to life but has learnt that with kind reward based training, the world is actually a wonderful place. He is the biggest gentle giant with a huge heart. To see him moving again with ease means the world to me. Photizo is my go to tool for maintenance and injury rehabilitation.”
