Dogs 4 Wildlife
-
We are proud to be sponsoring Dogs 4 Wildlife. Dogs 4 Wildlife aims to provide both quality, highly trained dogs and specialised ranger training, for the development of anti-poaching canine units to protect endangered wildlife. Inspiring and motivating the next generation of wildlife protectors, through effective and determined education.
After hearing about the benefits of red light for recovery from injury, the Dogs4Wildlife team were intrigued to know more about the modality. Dogs4 Wildlife felt that having access to Photizo would be highly beneficial during the early training programme. We were delighted to sponsor 2 Photizo Vetcare units. This means red light therapy can be integrated while the dogs are young to help with proactive muscle recovery or to have on hand in case any injuries/wounds unfortunately occur. As young working dogs, this will get them used to receiving this therapy for quick recovery. -
After deployment, Photizo light therapy will continue to be part of a recovery protocol for these amazing dogs in a working environment where there is a risk of injury. Quick recovery and efficient healing from wound/injury is essential for these canine workers, and Photizo are honoured to help Dogs4Wildlife with such an amazing anti-poaching programme.
Photizo Light Therapy devices deliver photobiomodulation which harnesses the healing power of red and near-infrared light at specific wavelengths and frequencies proven to be effective in stimulating and accelerating the natural healing responses of the body. The studied effects include reducing inflammation and swelling, improving circulation, lymphatic and immune systems and relieving pain. Cells that are compromised after injury such as wounds soft tissue or musculoskeletal conditions can actually be rejuvenated by light.
