We became aware of red light therapy in 2006 and quickly recognised its enormous health benefits and potential for doing good for people and animals across the UK. We have been working hard to sell and distribute them around the country since then.
The Photizo range was actually invented by a South African company, Photon Therapy Systems and is manufactured by them. Founded in 2005, they provide innovative red light therapy products to consumers, healthcare professionals and vets and around the world.
Since the first Photizo was developed, a great deal of real world evidence has proved that red light therapy is hugely successful in accelerating the natural healing process and treating pain caused by a variety of health conditions and injuries. It’s been studied in hundreds of clinical trials and demonstrated amazing improvements in skin health, soft tissue healing, collagen production, physical performance and muscle recovery, sleep, joint pain, inflammation and much more besides.
At the start, red light therapy was only available to healthcare professionals. So the Photizo Home Care range was created so that everyone could benefit from the healing power of Photizo red light therapy at home. These are affordable, portable hand-held units, which are safe and easy to use, and now available from Danetre Health Products to treat the whole family.

Our Managing Director, Ruth is a member of the International Light Association and delighted to be part of the founding committee for the UK Chapter of the ILA.
The ILA is an international non-profit association which promotes and shares knowledge in the fields of light, colour and sound to advance health and wellbeing. This international platform brings together an incredible and unique network of scientists, inventors and manufacturers, researchers, authors, architects and lighting designers, teachers, healthcare professionals, therapists and healers, and enthusiasts.
Through our close link with ILA UK, Ruth and the Photizo UK team will have the opportunity to help bring ILA’s message to other like-minded professionals in the UK.
