So what is chronic pain? Everyone suffers pain at some point in their life. It’s Nature’s way of telling you your body has suffered an injury or accident. Everyone also knows that once the injury has healed, the pain goes away.

But chronic pain is different. Doctors and medical experts usually define it as pain that lasts for three to six months or even longer. According to the British Pain Society, chronic pain affects more than 40% of the UK population, meaning that around 28 million adults are living with pain that has lasted for three months or longer.

Our Photizo Pain Relief device is here to help. It’s designed to treat any chronic pain caused by an underlying health condition, including back pain, neck pain, inflammation, swelling or arthritis. For you, it’s all about getting relief from the pain of long-term medical conditions that probably won’t heal or repair.

It’s a simple, convenient, non-invasive and drug-free way to help reduce chronic and long-term swelling and inflammation, especially if you have arthritis. Red light therapy has also been shown to help your joints to recover more quickly after an injury, and is beneficial in treating pain and inflammation associated with joint diseases like arthritis and gout.

What it does

Studies show that red light therapy reduces muscle spasms, increases blood flow and circulation, and widens the lymph vessels. This helps ensure that waste products are cleared out of the affected area, allowing oxygen and nutrients to flow in.

Red light therapy harnesses the healing power of red and near infrared light at selected wavelengths and frequencies. This then speeds up healing by activating the body’s own pain relieving hormones and promotes relaxation hormones such as serotonin. The LEDs, or light emitting diodes used, are non-invasive and painless, and don’t need any recovery time after treatment.

What it treats

Photizo Pain Relief is perfect for treating chronic pain caused by painful and inflammatory conditions linked to arthritic joints such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and gout; pain and loss of sensation loss linked to nerve damage; pain, muscle spasm and inflammation associated with fibromyalgia, plantar fasciitis, flat feet or calcaneal spur; cartilage damage, fractures, bone bruising, spinal column problems, back and neck pain; muscle strains, sprains and spasms including neck, shoulder and back muscle spasms.

It couldn’t be easier to benefit from the pain-relieving properties of Photizo red light therapy. Simply place the head of your Photizo Pain Relief device containing the LEDs on the area of your body you want to treat.

Then press the power button and stop when the timed treatment finishes. Each dose is pre-programmed and tested to give the optimum amount of red light therapy per session. This way, it’s impossible to give yourself too much of the red light therapy. After you’ve finished, move on to the next part of your body you’d like to treat. On larger pain areas, you can move safely to the area next to the one you’ve just treated, until you’ve covered it all.

“I have arthritis in my knees and tried the Photizo Pain Relief for just over two weeks. Literally after the first session I had instant pain relief - and felt it also greatly reduced the swelling around my knee enabling me to walk pain free.”
